Creative activities have always drawn my attention, from a young age Iwould draw, colour, cut and create! I’m still very much like this, I find myselflosing track of time and working into the small hours.I enjoy the challengeswhich design presents and communicating my ideas as g involved inextreme sports when I was younger helped to feed my creative cravings, it gaveme a focus and allowed me to express myself freely.I wanted to represent thesehobbies, that’s when I decided to design t-shirts that would display aconnection with my friends and our common interests.

Prior to applying to study illustration, I have worked in job roles where Ihave learnt valuable majority of my experience being within theretail industry.I have learnt the values of team work, meeting deadlines, beingpro active and working to ones own ing for high fashion retailershas also allowed me to keep my creative edge.I have personally made displays,dressed windows and mannequins, remerchandised walls, even down to placingfixtures requires industry knowledge and was at this point Irealised I would really enjoy working within a more creative industry.

In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, writing music, discovering newbands, attending gigs, reading, photography, watching films and playing desire of mine is to travel, I believe it is an important part of w the places I have visited so far have left an impression on me, I am alwayskeen to discover and out visiting new places and meeting differentpeople, I would not have as much awareness of the world, I view this as anessential part of design.I also consider design to be a hobby which I ampassionate about and enjoy seems natural for me to take this tothe next level as I see design being more than just a hobby.

Studying at degree level will give me the opportunity to respond to briefs,rather than self-initiating my gh more importantly I will also begiven the opportunity to work with other designers, be it my tutors or ing in a creative atmosphere amongst others who are able to givecritique and advice, will be the most valuable area to me.I would also like touse university as a stepping-stone to gain work, through exhibitions,opportunities within the university and through industry links.

Some of my favourite artists would include David Shrigley for his bazaarhumour, Banksy for his satire and directness and Frank Sheppard Fairey for his‘phenomenology’ experiment.

Illustration has recently become a bit of an obsession to me and I can’tremember a day when I wasn’t drawing or doodling an e’s somethingsatisfying about spending hours rendering an idea, only to realise something isslightly out of place and deciding to spend a night in perfecting it.

出國留學丹麥可以申請的大學

一、哥本哈根大學

哥本哈根大學位於丹麥首都哥本哈根，是丹麥規模、最有名望的綜合性大學，也是北歐最古老的大學之一。在校學生人數已超過35，000人，並建立了龐大而雄厚的師資1800人次。哥本哈根大學構建起了斯堪地那維亞地區的經濟和科技，併為丹麥培訓了許多神職人員、醫生、律師和教師等專業人才。世界大學排名第四十五位。

作為丹麥最有名氣，極大的大學，哥本哈根大學無疑是吸引了丹麥的精英學生。化學，生物，天文，醫學的研究，哥本哈根大學還是有很重要的地位。也許是擔心外國人真正學到丹麥的精華，哥大英文授課的本科，碩士專業是很少，國際學生多半是交換生。經濟系是長期招生中國學生極多的專業，以前申請是相對容易，但是被部分學生給浪費免費名額後，現在申請要求是明顯有所提高。要求有經濟系的相關背景，宏觀經濟，微觀經濟都有要求。

二、南丹麥大學

南丹麥大學(University of SouthernDenmark)位於丹麥南部，學位和研究享譽全球，其環境優美、教學設施先進，擁有五個現代化圖書館、實驗室及計算機信息網絡系統。南丹麥大學由南丹麥商業與工程學院、歐登塞大學和南珠特蘭大學合併而成，並由歐登塞(Odense)、科靈(Kolding)、埃斯堡(Esbjerg)和桑德堡(Sonderborg/Flensborg)四個校區組成，其中主校區是成立於1966年的歐登塞校區。南丹麥大學約有25000名學生，是個綜合性大學，涉足了50多個專業研究領域，學生可選擇從大學到博士學位的不同課程。世界排名約為301-400名。

南丹麥大學有奧登斯校區和桑德堡校區，文科碩士專業基本在奧登斯，理工碩士專業基本在桑德堡，以前馬氏基學院有很多中國學生攻讀計算機，畢業後就業也不錯。丹麥收學費後，理工科中國學生明顯減少。南丹麥大學桑德堡校區有幾個英語授課的本科專業，比較受到中國人歡迎。學費不高，教育質量還不錯。

三、奧爾堡大學

成立於1974年的丹麥最年輕的綜合大學，因為高度的國際化程度吸引了不少中國學生。奧爾堡是丹麥第4大城市，雖然人口只有15萬左右。奧爾堡大學理工科還是很厲害，電子，通訊等是很多公司的研發夥伴。中國學生多半是讀碩士，畢業後就業前景一直是相對不錯。

不少中國人在奧爾堡大學讀博士或者任教。文科也有大量專業是英語授課，而且費用便宜。但前幾年中國學生因為文憑造假，部分影響了中國學生的名聲。如果你想真做研究，奧爾堡大學還是不錯的選擇。

四、羅斯基勒大學

羅大的文科其實很有特色，教學質量也深受丹麥人認可。學校採取Project的學習方式，但是適合能自覺學習的學生才可以收穫較多。

以前大量招生中國學生，但因為收取學費的事情，中國學生把羅大告到了丹麥科技部，造成沸沸揚揚的丹麥學校欺騙中國學生事件，羅大教育質量不高的新聞遍佈丹麥媒體。最終以羅大全額退回中國學生的學費而收場。但是從此學校老師對中國學生的態度90度大轉彎。評心而論，羅大文科教育質量還是不錯的，理科教育一般。學校地點不錯，教學條件也可以。

留學丹麥衣食住行指南

一、衣

丹麥本地一年中的平均氣温在20℃左右，30℃的天氣並不多，零下的氣温也很少，總體上來看，生活的環境還是比較適宜的，大家的穿着也基本是以舒適為主，大家不用帶很多衣服過來。

平時的服裝採購，可以考慮換季的時候進行，這樣可以享受比較大的折扣，而且大家可以辦一張信用卡，刷卡還有折上折，最後就是多關注一下商場的優惠信息，並且學會使用網購。

二、食

要適應丹麥的西式餐飲習慣，大家在這裏生活，每天接觸的，大部分都是西餐，沙拉、漢堡、麪條、麪包、披薩等，米飯是比較罕見的，而且價格一般也會比較貴。

不過如果大家選擇自己來做飯的話，成本會低上不少，不過要注意開放式廚房的使用;大家還可以去超市採購半成品，回家只需要稍微加工一下，就可以吃的那種。

三、住

學生公寓是第一選擇，因為方便省事而且安全便宜，但是名額很少;而對生活自理能力比較差的學生來説，還可以考慮進行寄宿，本地家庭更能夠為你提供完善的生活服務。

當然性價比的，依然還是合租，大家可以聯合幾個同學或者朋友一起來租一個套間公寓，這樣大家就可以平攤包括房租在內的所有日常開支，能夠剩下一大筆錢。

四、行

在這裏，人行道和自行車道分開，公交車道雖然不寬，但是大多都是單車道，這樣你會感覺特別安全，而且開車的話可不用擔心可能會遇到搶車道的情況。

不過公共交通的車票價格並不便宜，26歲以下的留學生，可以購買青年通票，兩人以上結伴同行則可以購買經濟通票，價格要便宜許多要學會省錢的有效方式。
