剛上國中一年級，我的英語老師叫左明淨。正如他的名字，一個清爽帥氣的年輕男老師，皮膚很乾淨的白，給人的感覺他不應該是一個鄉鎮學校的老師，而應該是大城市學校的老師；聽説他英語教的很好，還帶過九年級年級（那時我們學校只有國中部），所以輪到這一屆教我們七年級，別的年級都覺得我們很幸運。

左老師給人的感覺很親切但又有一定的距離感，這可能跟他的氣質有關係吧。他的身體不好。聽説做了幾次手術，什麼病，我一直沒弄清楚。可能那時年紀小，還沒有把一件事情弄清楚的意識（那個年代的孩子比現在的同齡孩子要稚嫩的多）；只是覺得挺奇怪的，他看起來那麼陽光，那麼有精神，不像是有病的人。但他又確實有病。

七年級的英語很簡單，剛開始就是ABC等26個英語字母和一些簡單的單詞。現在説簡單，但對於那時一個農村的孩子，從小到大從沒聽過一句英語的我來講，可以説是在聽天書，而且是每節課聽得耳朵疼，為什麼呢？因為必須注意聽，才能聽清楚老師的發音。太過緊張、太過用心，所以往往一節課下來，腦殼疼耳朵也疼。就這樣，我還必須把老師的每個字母和單詞的發音要寫出漢語的`相近音註明在旁邊，再依葫蘆畫瓢的背熟，這樣才能勉強跟上老師的進度。雖説那英語單詞發音不是很標準，但至少在班上不會太落後。雖然左老師上課並不嚴肅，但我每次上英語課卻緊張的很。

很快，就要英語單元小測驗了，也就是寫出26個英語字母和部分單詞以及一些簡單的句型。但是我還是緊張的要命，幾個字母和單詞翻過來顛過去的背，因為不知道老師要出什麼樣的題。我又不是那種很機靈很聰明的學生；真的到時候在班上得個倒數，那就太丟人了。

考試考完了，背上也緊張的汗濕了；自己雖説沒找出什麼錯誤，但還是很害怕考試結果。結果還是出來了，當老師唸完成績後，半天我還是雲裏霧裏的，不知是真是假！因為我得了一百分，而且班上有六個一百分！過了一會兒等我清醒過來後，一想：唉！自己太過緊張太過當回事了，這不，有啥嘛，那麼多人得了一百分，也沒看到別的同學怎麼樣。於是我人生中的第一次英語考試就這樣結束了。

左老師從這次考試後，對我這個學生似乎引起注意了；經常上課先提問我，還經常得到他的表揚和指點。有時我也奇怪班上那麼多同學得了一百分老師也沒怎麼表揚他們呀，而我得了個一百分對於他來講好像很不得了似的，有時我都覺得不好意思；因為我自己都覺得我並不是個很聰明而且英語也不是最好的學生。當然老師的鼓勵也使我對英語更有了興趣。

很快第一學期過去一半了，學校要召開一次總結大會，其中還有一項就是學校要選舉部分學生代表上台發言講講學習心得。而我卻被我的英語老師推薦上去了！當得知這一消息時，我吃驚得並害怕得求老師不要讓我去。因為我真的覺得我沒什麼資格輪到我在全校師生面前發言，再者我又是一個膽子很小性格又很內向的女孩子，別説在全校大會上發言，就是在陌生人面前都不敢説話的人，叫我如何做這樣的事。我求了左老師幾次，老師卻一如既往的鼓勵我，絲毫沒有要換我的意識。看來這次真的是要趕鴨子上架了。當然當我站在廣場發言台上時，我的大腦一片空白，手中的發言稿顫抖着，我的聲音如蚊子般哼哼了幾分鐘後，唸完講稿快速的跑下講台，坐在位子上想：這回丟人丟大了，也給左老師丟面子了，心裏委屈的想哭。然而我的老師依然沒有因為我這次表現不佳而減少了對我學習上的鼓勵。

就這樣一學期也很快就過去了，我呢，也就在那年的春節隨着我的父母舉家遷往另一個省的另一個城市。因為小不懂事，因為沒來得及，因為因為、、等等、等等我沒有向我的同學和我的英語老師告一聲別······

兩個月後我收到一封來自家鄉的信，那是我的一個很好的同班同學的信，信中告訴我離別後的一些事，還特別的告訴我：新學期開學的第一天，左老師沒看到我去報名，就問她我怎麼沒去。當我的同學告訴他我走了，到另外一座城市去了時，左老師先是楞了一下，接着感到很失望的樣子站了半天······

每想到此，我都有點遺憾，是啊！都沒來得及和老師説聲再見，真的該去和老師説句再見！

時間過得真快啊！十幾二十幾年就這樣過去了，自從離開家鄉後就再也沒回去過了。家鄉的人和事以及少年的記憶都已漸漸模糊了，而老師那親切的笑容和那陽光的身影卻永遠的定格在我的記憶裏，不知道現在老師還好嗎？身體健康嗎？

此生是否有緣再見呢？
