T shows the logo-family village and ask ss predict what it is and the purpose of it. By asking ss two questions to let ss know the general topic of the lesson.

Skimming: T ask the ss to read the passage quick and find out the verb phrases about the two questions and get the general content of the text.

T ask ss to get the main idea of each paragraph and the text according to the mind map .

利用思維導圖把每段的段落大意提煉出來進而提煉文章的主要內容。
